Dubai- Desert Safari Experience , A thrilling escapade for lifetime

Desert Safari, a place mix of adventure, cultural fun and amazing dinner under the stars.

Nov- Feb: Although this is called as winter season in Dubai, it is never too cold. You can enjoy beautiful weather during these months.

We started our trip at 2 PM and it took us around 2.5 hours to reach till dessert.

Dune Bashing:

A thriller Dune bashing by the 4*4 Land Cruiser, drive deep into the desert to explore the reddish and golden sand dunes, Your heart will skip a beat when you drop straight down at high speed and escalates high on sand dunes.

After the adrenaline high Dune bashing we drove towards the desert camp, before reaching the actual camp, we stopped somewhere in the middle of dunes to enjoy the endless view of the sand dunes. A wide deserted landscape that was picture perfect.

After taking a lot of beautiful pictures it is time for the next activity.

Quad Biking:

You can enjoy the exciting quad bike ride across the sands dunes. It is the experience of the lifetime and you must try it.

Camel Ride:

After the race-monster, we switched to a calmly swaying camel ride to get a real feel of a desert life.

Falcons: Fastest flying birds in the world, is the national bird of UAE and is a symbol of force and courage.

At the other side of camp, there were higher dunes and we shifted us, on the top of one, to adore the beautiful sunset view over the long stretched desert.

Enjoying sunset holding hands of hubby, made me realize how lucky I am to travel and explore the world with him!!” Pure bliss!

After enjoying the mesmerizing view of the sunset across the endless desert, we came back to the camp. Refreshments were being served as everyone started settling down to witness the various Arabian cultural shows. The weather was at its best, not too cold nor hot, with the aroma of flavored sheeshah around.

Tanoura dance:

Performed by the male dancer, and he spins without stop around in a circle for about 15 minutes that tells a story.
The most amazing thing about his costume it all lights up that gives a spectacular view.

Fantastic fire dancing:

A man with fire I got the goosebumps to see him how that man is playing with fire.

Belly dance:

The stage was now graced by a talented dancer with amazing music. Belly dance one the most famous dance of the Arab world. Her dancing moves were amazing I have only seen that type of performance on TV before. Watching it live is the different experience altogether. I was stunned to see her dance moves at the same time, I was jealous as my husband looking at her and impressed with her coordination, flexibility, and stomach muscle control.



After all the adventures activities and enjoying mesmerizing sunset you will be treated to delicious BBQ dinner under the stars accompanied by unlimited non-alcoholic drinks. There is something for everyone so vegetarians don’t have to worry about going hungry in the middle of the desert.

Along with delicious food, you can enjoy the flavored hookah or shisha.

There are various options available for souvenirs they are actually cheap, only if you are good at the bargain.

What you should Know Before taking a trip:

Booking your trip :

Booking a desert safari is easy, you will find endless options with a simple google search and Dubai tourism is quite strict with the quality of all tours so you don’t have to worry. However price varies from 70 AED to 200 AED so, you may need to do some research before booking.

No matter where you book you will be provided pick up and drop to hotel/ apartment. If you want to go for cheaper options you can book a car on sharing basis or else, on the private basis.



  • Try to reach before 4 PM so,  after enjoying all activities you can enjoy the spectacular sunset in the desert as well. You can also check what suits your need Here
  • Desert temperature drops after sunset, so carry some lightweight sweater or jacket with yourself to keep yourself warm.
  • Enjoy just light lunch early in a day and avoid having too much water or a heavy meal before dune bashing as it will be VERY bumpy.
  • You can enjoy your dinner meal as much as you want as there is no dune bashing on return.
